Carbon Bandsaw Blades

Our customer base encompasses a wide variety of backgrounds, including Engineering and Metal Fabricators, Wood Fabricators, Metal reclamation experts, Carpenters, and many others. These Carbon Bandsaw blades excel at cutting softer materials, such as:

  • Mild steel
  • Non-ferrous metals like aluminium, Copper, and Brass
  • Wood
  • Plastic

Choosing Carbon

The choice of Carbon over Bi-Metal blades arises from their cost-effectiveness, particularly for lighter production work and cutting softer materials.

It’s essential to note that relying on a single blade for all tasks is impractical. Doing so not only wastes time and money but also increases the risk of potential damage or injuries. Selecting a Bandsaw Blade involves considering multiple variables, including Width, Teeth Per Inch, Material compatibility, and Material Thickness (with standard thicknesses provided to customers). Therefore, it’s vital to ensure that the chosen blade is suitable for the specific material it will cut.

To determine if a Carbon bandsaw blade is the right fit, evaluate the examples mentioned earlier to see if they align with your cutting materials. If you need assistance making your decision, feel free to contact our team via email, and they will be more than happy to help.

Ferrous

As you delve into the world of purchasing bandsaw blades, the term “Ferrous” will undoubtedly come to your attention. Let’s take a moment to delve into its meaning. Ferrous metals encompass materials characterised by their iron content. These materials comprise a diverse range: Steel, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Carbon Steel, as well as cast and Wrought Iron, not to mention pig iron (also referred to as crude iron).

Non Ferrous

Is another that will be heard when purchasing blades and they consist of Aluminium / Copper / Brass / Zinc / Lead / Tin / Nickel / Bronze / Gold / Silver.
